  1. Mega Drive GBA Shmup (Invader). (EDIT: It's Worth Playing!)

I found an old thread concerning the game, but no comments on gameplay as it was not yet out at the time.

Has anyone played it? Is it worth picking up?

  2. Hey, Bio, I did not know you posted here! Cool.

Anyways, I have heard only good things about it. I have heard that it is on the easy side. It is only a Euro release right? Or was it released here as well? Dosen't really matter, not like the region makes a difference.

Hey Shapermc, thanks for the info. I finally found some online reviews of the game, too.

    E3 2002: Invader

    Kaisertal

I found the game for $13.87 at the Sam's Club Membership Warehouse in Fairbanks, Alaska. I was trying to get some feedback on it before opening it, so I could return it in case I heard it sucked. I grabbed it since it was the last copy on the shelves. I'll give it a go once my GBA SP finishes recharging.

Finally tried out Invader. Definitely a decent shmup. Rumblings that it is a bit easy can probably be attributed to the fact that you can set the credits to be infinite. As long as you have some self-control and limit yourself, you have yourself a nice little time-waster on your hands for the price of $13.87.

Now for the weird part. I could have sworn that it had an ESRB rating on it, but I guess that was just my memory of seeing the picture online. When I took it out of the plastic security "holster," I discovered NO ESRB rating. Instead, it had Euro ratings all over the back. When the Hell did Sam's Club Membership Warehouse start carrying imports?
