It could be a factor but highly its not the phone.

I remember WildKat saying that the Motorola T730 had cruddy reception.
Me? From what I see from what I've sold, it's... alright.
Samsung and LG all the way.

You're right about the Post. I've noticed too much showbiz shit in there.

    wrong.

  6. It's between AT&T and Verizon now, upon further research Cingular has no service in areas where some family reside. No thanks. That and they charge a little extra for stuff like voice mail and detailed billing, stuff that's included with AT&T and Verizon.

  7. Good man...

I can leave my antenna on my Nextel the way it is..and get reception in my room. If I take it out and replace it with those flashing ones, the only way I will get reception is by the window.

Another instance, I have a $350 cellphone (Nokia 7250i) while my friend has a $100 cellphone (Nokia 6200). Both are AT&T and get the same reception..which is barely any unless you're in a certain location. My girl has a Siemens and gets the same reception. If I compared my AT&T to my parents Verizon (A305..i think), their phone has great reception. So its all about how strong the reception is in your area. If I compared the same phones at my grandparents house, my Nokia would get great reception while the Verizon phone will have a problem and you would have to stand by the door. Mind you, we only live about 3 mins away.

Well, now its up to the price plan that suits you best.

yea, that's why i get Newsday on my doorstep everyday of the week. not that i would also know they started using a new layout on monday making the paper even better than it was before. stop reading crap like The Post. Newsday is still tops, and i'd say Daily News is second. the Times still has ways to go after that Jason Blair shit. i would also rather read USA Today over The Post. hell... even HOY is better than that drivel.

Ok, heres the deal, I have not changed my service for 4 years...and I have been through 3 phones, 2 Nokias, and my new Sony (they dont carry that Nokia anymore - default phone), and I'm telling you, the places where i used to get crystal clear reception, I now experience drop outs, strange clicking (sounds like a drop of water with a lot of reverb), or my phone will ring, I'll pick up...nothing. I guess thats what I get for buying the 5 dollar phone.

So I asked my bud who is one of the jerks at the AT&T store (manager jerk), and he told me it was the phone. IT IS THE PHONE, THE PHONE MAKES A DIFFERENCE.
