And according to Nintendo Power and the interview with the developers, the RPG isn't just a sidequest and is really the meat and potatoes of the game. They promised interesting chracters and lots of story twists, as well as lots of stuff do and places to battle.

There's also a trainer gym, if you don't know how to play or haven't played in a very long time.

Like I said earlier, Cyndaquil, Chikorita, and Crocodile, the three starters from silver / gold, will be playable in the game as well.

The main character's two main pokemon are an umbreon and espon (the two advanced evolved forms of eevee, one is light and the other is dark, respectively.

There is also a place called Mt. Battle, in the solo battle mode, where you fight 100 trainers, one after the other

I already knew the bit about the Espion, Umbrion, the RPG being the meat of the game, and the 30+ hour story, but the rest of that info is new to me. 100 trainers in a freaking row? Bring it on, biotch!

One more thing, is that the good majority of the pokemon in the story mode are from Silver / Gold.

Makes sense, since all of the old school pokemon are in Fire Red / Leaf Green.

No date for the US yet, but since they've already sold 1 million in Japan, I'm pretty sure that the big N will bring them here.

I've heard people say sometime in 2004 on GameFAQ's, though.

Nomi, in case you haven't noticed, most of the people excited about this game are over 20 years old.

It's OK to be 15 and like Pokemon. I know your friends might make fun of you, but screw them! You won't stay in touch with them after high school anyway (or it's at least very unlikely), so who gives a crap what they think.
