Completed Valkyrie Profile.

Mixed feelings about this one. Really cool combat/character/exploration system, beautiful 2d backdrops, very mediocre translation. Not exactly the most uplifting storyline either. Quite a bit of extra stuff though. Had I realized 'Hard' was actually 'more goodies and dungeons' I would have done that from the getgo, but supposedly its also more annoying puzzles, which I'm not fond of. Multiple endings, and a giant extra dungeon once you beat the game. Definitely your moneys worth and then some.

Completed Arc the Lad

Definitely more of an introduction to the series than a heavy duty strat rpg. Only about 10 hours or so for the whole game, did most of the extras, though I skipped the Forbidden Ruins (50 floors of that combat? Blech). Supposedly Arc 2 has better gameplay, so we'll see how that goes.

Also tried to play a bit of Star Ocean 2. I totally and completely don't remember where I was. I tried to check a few faqs to refresh my memory of the story, but the bulk of them were 'go here, do this', which doesn't help me much. I may have to restart if I want a coherent storyline. Yuck!

Also polished off Ninja Gaiden on Hard. VH is freaking brutal.

I spent some time playing Arc2, it is WAY cooler gameplay wise than Arc2, and better in most other ways as well. I can't believe this game came out only a year after Arc1?

That's against the rules, man. Your pile of shame is only comprised of games that were in there when you posted it. I believe Victrix made it clear that he doesn't want people putting more games in their pile. Just quit buying games and start playing the ones you had in there before.
