Thread: The Passion of the Christ

  1. Terrible? Nah. But it's not even on par with Robert Jordan in terms of engaging narrative. All that begetting business tends to grate on one's nerves.

    One needs only read Revelation.

  3. I've no words.

I sat in the theater a solid half hour after it ended just sitting there, thinking aout the whole thing.

Surely I say to you, for all of the reasons presented in this movie, my God is great. Greater than any other. Praise Him.

The entire body of English literature is influenced by the Bible. Robert Jordan is influenced by needing something to do when his friends stopped wanting to play Dungeons & Dragons with him anymore.

  6. Hey, guys, make fun all you want, it's who I am and how I feel.

Why are you creeped out? Never seen a Jesus Freak before?

I'm still the same old surly conservative that you're bound to butt heads with in the future.

I haven't changed. I'm simply voicing my convictions.

You can't say you didn't know I am a Christian. I'm a licensed Reverand, even (this you may, or may not have known).

I have no plans of ever seeing it.

Why is that important? I'm at a loss here.

I live in Tennessee, the Jesus Freak base of operations.

I've been witnessed to no less than three times by three different denominations. Needless to say, the attempted brainwashing has yet to be effective. Unfortunately, I have seen how their brow-beating tactics have broken down other people and it sickens me to no end.

You're not a conservative. You just tell your Bible buddies that you are.
