Thread: Punisher

  1. The cool part was they did it on no money(everyone involved donated their time) and in 10 days(excluding the post production).

  2. Watched the Tom Jane Punisher after seeing that short, it really is kind of a perfect continuation of that version of the character's arc.

That movie was ok except for all the dumb John Travolta stuff. "I have a pipe, hurrr."

Why would something in one location take 10 days to do excluding post production? That seems like a huge amount of time. Including Post production would be impressive.

  4. You ever been on a shoot, Thief? Honest question.

  5. No, so I realize I'm being an asshole here. When we say 10 days when does that start? Is that the moment they're writing this thing and the wrote it, got everyone together in one location and shot it in 10 days? Or is it that it took them 10 days to shoot the entire thing?

  6. 10 days for that is Pretty Fast. Wrangling the actors, shooting the plates for the effects, the pyro stuff takes a long time to set up and shoot, choreography, everything with the guns, clearing locations (they probably had a couple hours each day to actually shoot, with multiple setups to deal with), multiple takes, reshoots, etc etc. Good on 'em for doing it that quickly, honestly.

  7. I would rather go to a theater, hang out in the lobby, and watch someone play through Capcom's Punisher arcade game then sit through a live-action Punisher movie.

  8. Cool story bro.

This 1 minute and 31 second segment took 3 hours. That's filming and prep of food.

  10. Because They Are The Same Thing.
