Maybe nobody told them Neo Geo is copywritten? I guess SNK either doesn't know or doesn't care.

    Indeed...

If SNK really cared they would sue http://www.neogeo.com/ too.

  3. It's trademarked, which is much less strict than copyright.

That said, I'm waiting for the "converted" comforter set with "improved" fabric design.

What makes you think the owners of that site shouldn't sue SNK?

Now that I think about it, I hope they do.

  4. Hopefully this won't hit an absurd price on ebay and only be owned by "collectors."

Depends on who has been around longer. I remember them having a link to SNK's homepage before because people kept going there looking for Neo Geo so I assume they are on good terms and aren't gonna sue anytime soon.

I hope it does cause it's really ugly....

  6. The "Neo Geo" bedding is not ever, in any way possible, going to be confused with the Neo Geo gaming system. Especially since maybe 0.1% of the population has a concept of what exactly the Neo Geo is. (YES, I know flames will pop up about how it's in every goddamn arcade in existance...)

I don't think SNK is going to jump on this, especially since the bedding people are trying to take advantage of the name.

And it's not that ugly. Better looking than anything sold at Sears or Wal-Mart.
