It doesn't matter...if Naughty Dog and Insomniac can do it in one year (as they have shown in the past that they can), then I'm all for it! 
My main concern is that the publisher (Sony) is squeezing both of these games, along with Sly 2: Band of Thieves, into a short period of time. I was hoping they'd release Sly 2 in June/July, Jak & Daxter III in September, and Ratchet & Clank 3 in November. Although we don't have release dates for J&D3 or R&C3 yet, it looks like Sly 2 is being penciled in for September. My guess is that J&D3 will follow in October, and R&C3 in November. Sony's own platform games might end up competing with each other.

I think it's going to be a much tougher year for Nintendo--possibly the toughest they've ever faced as far as their involvement in the video game industry is concerned. Hopefully, they'll show off some surprises soon.
