The more I think about it, the more I think IGN was mistaken. $150 isn't just high for that thing, it's insane. I bet it retails at $50 tops, and even then I'd wait for a drop.
The concept isn't bad. A game with a dedicated sword controller (where the sword had a bunch of gyros and moved the sword around on the screen with precision) would be totally badass. This is not.

Exacty. Games that are designed specifically for specialty controller kick ass. Specialty controllers shoe-horned into games that were designed for thumb pads don't. Powerglove anybody?Originally Posted by burgundy

it was a Namco samurai game. attacks were the usual swing left, right, up, down, and special attacks actually made you do some crazy sword movement. there was a foot pedal involved too but i don't know what it did.Didn't they make an arcade game with a sword controller? Well, I doubt I'd be able to critical hit as easily with this thing + I can barely come up with 150 for games I want and yes Hori bring us your j-sticks instead of this crap pleaze.
As for Onimusha 3, 1 of 4 titles I can't wait for it 2004. Probably my favorite series by Capcom and might be second to DMC if the sequel didn't suck so hard.
"50,000! You scored 50,000 points on Double Dragon?"
Here's an idea: why doesn't everyone reserve judgement until after you have actually touched, felt and tried it?
Because this is TNL.

I can count the number of people here that do on a severely amputated hand.
