Thread: Crazy Taxi vs Crazy Taxi 2.

  1. CT 1 for the DC is one of the finest home ports ever, and the arcade game is fantastic too. CT 2 added jumping, and shit on everything that made the original so great, such as FUN gameplay, and imaginative level design that added to the fun. CT 3 is fantastic only because of the inclusion of the first city, Small Apple being darkened is neat, but there's slowdown in it. The Glitter Oasis level is just horrid, although the design is better than SA or whatever the name was of the second area in CT 2, there's way too much slowdown. I rather enjoyed the crazy jump feature, and it's neat to be able to use it in CT 1's main city, as it adds a whole new dimension to the gameplay. I don't like the multiple fares system though, especially in the redone West Coast, where there seems to be a real lack of customers throughout the area.

Oh, and Crazy Taxi rocked the house, and CT 2 was blah.
    A is for action

  3. Anyone who skipped the third game missed out on the jumptastic version of Crazy Taxi 1, and they have my pity.
    Yes.

  4. I loved Crazy Taxi 1
I loved Crazy Taxi Golf in part 2
I would have loved part 3 if it wasn't for all of the fucking slowdown in Glitter Oasis

still, it's worth playing crazy pyramid
Agreed 100%... the pyramid and the box are great fun.

Silly bastard, you don't play CT3 for Glitter Oasis... you play it for the original city with all the additions. It should be cheap by now, and worth it.

Yawn, no shit. I own it. I was simply saying that Glitter Oasis is, itself, shit.
I got my copy for 15 bucks. Well worth it even though the XBOX comtroller wasn't as good as the DC controller. Boosting seemed harder to me.

Yeah , not shit. I bought CT3 for 15 bucks. I was simply stating that Glitter Oasis itself sucked. I also don't like the XBOX controller for this game as much as I do the DC's controller.

I guess "yeah," makes more sense than "yawn," but I found "yawn" a lot funnier

  9. Both games are two of my favorite games ever, but I have to give the edge to CT2 because Around Apple is my favorite course. Really though, it's not worth comparing because they're so close.

Damn, I never knew that so many people hated CT2 until I read this thread. Hmph.
