Thread: Enya & Final Fantasy

  1. Enya & Final Fantasy

I was surprised to find out that Enya was involved in a lot of FF music. What exactly did she do?

  2. #2
    A match made in hell.

  3. Where did you find this out?

I've never heard this and would be surprised if it's true.

I was trying to find out what the name of this particular piece of music was and just stubled across it. Hmmm, maybe not a lot of music, just Uemetsu's fan sites seen to like her work.

"Celtic Moon" it is either FF4 or FF6 music
"Gravity of Love" is from FF9

Other stuff she worked on it the theme of:
    Last of the Mohicans
    Gladiator
    Lord of the Rings

And is probably Notorious for "Return to innocence" with Enigma, with the lawsuit and being the most overused piece of music in media these days.

  5. Celtic Moon - is FF4. Still I didn't know that was her...

    Same.

I'm waiting for Werewolf to comment. If he's never heard anything about this, it's probably safe to dismiss it as false.

Whoops. That was fast. I've never actually heard Celtic Moon, and I'm not familiar with the FF9 song... I still want more info.

You will know the FF9 song as soon as you hear it.

  8. I heard the ... overworld theme from FF4 by her. It was great.

  9. Enya produces some awesome music. My wife and I love her albums.

    That is all.

  10. That song that was in Sleepwalkers was cool. Otherwise, I can't really get into her music. Must have something to do with me being neither celtic nor effeminate.
    Time for a change
