Yeah, even though I'm using the most conservative and standard Linux windowing environment, I'll pipe in and say desktop threads are always the most interesting on Unix message boards. With all those Window managers and the ability to tweak pretty much everything, people always come up with some interesting stuff.

Before I made the switch, I was a bit worried about how long it would take me to get accustomed to OSX, and how I would get along with some of the old standbys that I had in OS9.
But, now that I'm running OSX, I feel like I've been here all my life. I switch back to OS9, and it feels odd and foreign already. All the fears I previous had about OSX are now pretty much gone. Hell, I'm even liking the Dock now. (Though more apps need to take advantage of the ability to have dynamically changing Dock icons.)
