The premise may sound contradictory, and it's authors are often willing to quickly support the ridiculous, but reading this NASA article just may make you think twice.

    From http://science.nasa.gov/

    Here's an excerpt -

    "
Global warming could plunge North America and Western Europe into a deep freeze, possibly within only a few decades.

That's the paradoxical scenario gaining credibility among many climate scientists. The thawing of sea ice covering the Arctic could disturb or even halt large currents in the Atlantic Ocean. Without the vast heat that these ocean currents deliver--comparable to the power generation of a million nuclear power plants--Europe's average temperature would likely drop 5 to 10°C (9 to 18°F), and parts of eastern North America would be chilled somewhat less. Such a dip in temperature would be similar to global average temperatures toward the end of the last ice age roughly 20,000 years ago.

Go home and be a family man.

  3. Thumbs Up

This movie looks so gay, that it may as well have been filmed in Fag-O-Scopic.

  4. teh suck.

  5. Please, let me see the destruction of the corner or Yucca and Wilcox and the shitpit I lived in. That alone will make me pay to see this.

  6. Yeah as far as disaster movies go, this looks head and shoulders above a lot of other disaster movies that have been released. That second trailer is sweet.

P.S. PBMax, I was refering to the global warming/Ice age thing were I've started about two threads based on all the reports that came out of woodshole, the pentagon, reuter's, NASA, etc...claiming that this was gonna happen to europe within twenty years

What? Independence Day kicked ass. Lots of it.

  8. sure it did......and so did men in black.

  9. They should just make a movie where it doesn't bother with plot and it just destroys every major monument on the planet with some sort of different natural disaster. Then let zombie aliens chase around the survivors.

It would break box office records.
