I didn't realize it was coming out until a couple days ago, but its nice that they're finally speeding the releases along - awhile back I had heard that Volume 3 wouldn't be out in North America until late 2004.

why do they separate those transformers seasons into parts (and the parts are hella expensive). was it not possible to just simply release them one season at a time?

About 24 eps per DVD. That's a fair price to pay.

How many parts? That's a lot of episodes if each DVD has like 23 episodes. Means that it ran pretty much year round. That's why people remember loving it so much. They never gave you time to grow out of the thing.

Am I stupid to think I'll wait for all the Futurama seasons to be released, and then buy a complete box set?
Like, is it likely that they'll only be available by season, and perhaps out of print by the time I'm looking to buy?
