Fantastic site with tons of information on the history of Atari.

The place to go if you want info on the latest info on Jeff Minter's work. More specifically the forums and Jeff's blog.
Somehow I think we'll deal if our employers are not in the top 10 of hardcore gaming message board readers.Originally Posted by bbobb

Does Makaze even check TNL anymore?

Cool webzine covering unreleased games. If it weren't for them, TNL wouldn't have that Propeller Arena article on their website.

For the weird-ass Japanese news, but also because I've been a fan of Fenegi since his NES Archives days.
It was never taken out! You were just a lazy ass and didn't bother remebering the URL to the Furugee Tamakoku.Man, I wish the Famicom Database wasn't taken down. If that site ever reappears, please let me know.

Thanks. I'm glad it's still around. I did look for it many times in case the location had changed but I couldn't find it so I figured it was toast.

Used to be a good PC release site, but now that there aren't any PC releases...The forums are filled with a mostly older crew of PC gamers. But for the age difference, its much like TNL, only for PC games. It also has a very high percentage of old usenet people, since the big gaming groups have been dying out over the years, it seems a lot have migrated here.

Godawful name, good news coverage. Not exactly The GIA or Daily Radar, but it gives a 'quality news' vibe, at least to me. Some decent articles as well. Could shape up to be something worthwhile, I'm not sure how long its been around.

I'mm surprised no one ever mentions these sites:
www.metacritic.com -- Not just for games but for all types of media. compiles reviews from major gaming sites as well as print media and tabulates a score.
www.allgame.com -- pretty comprehensive list/info about 1000s of games from all systems. by the allmusic and allmovie guys.
www.gametrailers.com -- all the latest PC and console game trailers domestic and abroad
Not essential but:
www.alexkidd.com --SMS info page. not related to that horrible TNL poster. has box art and great info.
www.cyberscore.net - Now contains well over 50,000 high score records covering almost 100 games now. I moderate the site and besides Twin Galaxies it's the biggest site I've seen for posting any high scores you may have. Cheating is rare, and we've approved over 10,000 of those records, mainly towards the top ends of any charts. WarioWare is the biggest game here, along with Burnout 2 and MK: DD!! Fun fun!
This is actually the only English gaming site I go to, in general, I don't go to many game sites though. But these are the few:
http://www2u.biglobe.ne.jp/~nanko/ (Japanese)
http://watch.impress.co.jp/game/ (Japanese)
http://www.gamer.com.tw/ (Chinese)
http://www.ruliweb.com (Korean)
"The only way microsoft would make something that doesn't suck is if they made vacuums"
Two great sites. If you're looking for game specific, I've had http://moonapples.com/lagi/ in my favorites for a long time, as well as http://www.panzerdragoon.net Both for Panzer Dragoon.Originally Posted by NeoZeedeater

http://gamespy.com - The only mainstream gaming site I trust...or read for that matter. Except that Psylancer guy, hes a total douchebag when it comes to anything Bemani (IE: He has no clue what hes talking about no matter how hard he tries).
http://shacknews.com - I read the news here, then 2 days later watch it pop up on TNL and say "I should have posted that.."
http://bemanistyle.com - The Bemani site I moderate. If you just ignore the DDR forums (AKA: The wasteland) then it's all good.
