Thread: Spain Bombing

  1. Yeah. They were most likely responsible for that bombing they blamed on Jews while at the same time they were pushing to get rid of state governments.

  2. One of the most important events in the rise of the Nazi government was the burning of the Reichstag (sp?), an event for which a young, mentally ill man was arrested, but many people suspect was caused by Nazis.

Or perhaps they just want to distance themselves from this horrible fiasco of a "war" they were pressured into?
Then why were the Spanish Conservatives, who supported the war, leading in the polls up until the bombing happened? If the Spanish voters felt so strongly about the war, the pre-bombing polls would have reflected that, and they didn't. http://www.cnn.com/2004/WORLD/europe...asts.election/

I already said all this in my first post, smartfuck. Anyway, their Parliment stands at 164 Socialists versus 148 Conservatives, which is neither a landslide victory or defeat.

  4. I wish I had a soapbox.

I wish I could pretend to know who you are better than you do, and blantantly throw all my obvious prejudices and sterotypes on your head, and claim it as 'witty observation'

I wish I had a sandwich. Being broke for two weeks forces you on diets.

I wish all those people didn't die in Spain. No one deserves that.

I wish people would quit calling terrorists "freedom fighters" "the resistance" and siding with them. My mind boggles that someone would try so hard to defend the logic of those who kill people just for a "cause." These people didn't live their life oppressing them, no matter how much they may think so. Then again, there has to be that deep-seeded mentality for hate and total loathing to want to drive the destruction against people who didn't do jack-shit to you.

Then again, I type this, and someone will indoubtly call it into question. Such is the life of free-will and differing opinions; some people actually kill over it. Some people actually justify those who kill. But who am I, anyway?

  6. I wish I had a lot of drugs and POD. Wait, I do. Okay, I wish for world peace then. Or at the very least some cool videos of shit blowing up or being hit by 20mm Depleated Uranium shells.

Shit, first time I've replied to anything like this in months, and already someone is being touchy about it? Grow up.

Somehow I highly doubt this is a letter from Al-Queda, but funny nonetheless. Cross Continental dissing.

It was a deadheat battle with only a few percentages seperating the two and a large part of the constituency saying they would vote but had not made up their mind yet.

Irrespective of that the conservatives even in the polls had no more then 41% and that was coming from an absolute majority in the last elections so no matter what they were greatly deminished BEFORE the attacks happened.

Since when does the government dictate what the press says in Belgium?
