Hey DarkCrow, just realized you play on Cain's Lair as well! I used to play at the Lair years ago with Starsiege Tribes. I'm glad Cain finally put up some new maps, as some of them are getting very boring. I hope he takes down Primeval and Frostbite.

Road rage heaven w/ mantas?!? I always thought of it being more of a hellbender heaven. You get that hellbender to the middle node first, with 3 people in it, your unstoppable. An endless barrage of shock combos in that position has gotten me upto WICKED SICK kills, which is the one right past godlike. God bless the hellbender, and it's infinate killing power. My question is though, how do you switch from the driver to a passenger on the fly?

To change vehicle positions use 1,2, or 3 (default controls). I'm sure there is a better way to do it in the user.ini file.

I can't help but feel helpless to my team in Frostbite, it's like no one really ever has a hold on ANYTHING. Tanks just play peek-a-boo behind the corner. I find myself getting the target painter, helping me team only for a split second.

As for primeval, if everyone on the team used the shock rifle, you could destroy the enemy tank or hellbender easily.

Frostbite and Primeval are neat enough maps, but not for 32 players. I'ts possible to defend the center node in Frostbite extremely well under normal circumstances, but not when you've got that many people out for blood. Even your own team-mates start getting in the way. I mean actually physically in the way, blocking doorways and shit. Aggravating.

The trick is, well for blue at least, is to just gun it towards the center and then jump over all the carnage and then smash any and all you see coming from the node, then sit around the node killing those you can, and when there is too much heat, you jump into the path to their core/node and continue to wreek havoc there. Got me up to 200 when it went into 3 overtimes, and I know that isn't too great, but for me its alot.

Trouble with the Manta in that level is all the bloody spider mines that are laying about everywhere. At the Manta's speed a good solid clump of those will do you in before you even have a chance to really respond.

200 not that great? Not many people get up that high. After you left the game today, we went to Torlan Pheonix Paradise, which is absolutly nuts. The first round I got rocked because my team didn't get a good start, but the second game in about 15 min I racked up over 200 in the leviathan. God bless levi's that spawn right when your levi is destroyed. That was easily my best point to time ratio I've ever had.

Had an amazing game last night on cain's lair ONS server. The map was crossfire, and i was on red with a manta going over to Blues first node. On the way I clip off 3 peoples heads, and get to their spawn to only clip off their heads again. Several more spawn and I'm just pounding the jump and smash buttons trying to kill as many as possible and not get shot down. Well before I know I get a mega kill then ultra kill, and then I hear my sexy announcer voice scream "holy shit" as if she is having the biggest orgasm ever and Ludicrus Kill fills the screen. Sadly I forgot to take a pic of it, but it was a glorious moment.

I did that once with the hellbender. I had it set up on Primeval at the middle node, I ended up getting WICKED SICK!!! in huge letters across my screen, then I got like 30 more kills and couldn't get another one. How do you take pics during the game? I would have loved to have that saved.
