i've always had a vague desire to do the same, but never got around to it.

If you've got the time (and it is time consuming, especially when you're starting out), I'd encourage you to pursue the idea. There is nothing so gratifying as seeing 18 people running around in something you created and treating each other, on the whole, very poorly. Hell, just stepping inside your own creation yourself is pretty amazing. This is where I began:

But yeah, there are players of all skill levels, from n00blets to hardened clan members, at the Road Rash server. So no need to feel hesitant or intimidated. What tag do you go by online?

I got a new computer recently and forgot my password (which they refuse to send to me). So, I need to register a new xfire account.

well that was fun. this game has a nasty habit of locking up when auto-switching maps. when i tried to join, the server was full.

it only seems to happen after downloading new content, so maybe it's not serious..

update: whee, i suck! that's what i get for avoiding multiplayer pc fps games for the last 2 years..

what's your mouse sensitivity set to? i have mine relatively high (180 with a quick wrist flick,) as that's what i'm used to from single player games. doesn't seem to help precice missle placing/sniping, though.

I really dug your map. I am not too familiar with VCTF(I've only played one other map, a Chaos map) It was lots of fun. Bots weren't too bad, either. I got real good frame rates too. Keep up the good work. The community needs more capture the flag maps!

We had such a blast with the demo, then everyone ran away when the retail version hit ;__;
