I dunno if it will have "a lot more" to offer, what it offers is just different imo.
I mean, afaiak, the gameplay in Diablo 2 is about a zillion leagues better than in anything you can do in an mmorpg.

I get the distinct impression a lot of us here are getting WoW. Hopefully I'll get to play with the TNL crowd, the SA goons, and RL friends all on the same server. Chances of that really happening? Little to none I'm sure.

Looking over MVS's link: first off, sweet screenshots. I know my life is going in the crapper when this comes out but I want it anyway. Secondly, I read their page a bit, and guys are talking about running two computers so they can play two characters at once? I assume so you can have a bitch healer/buffer-type in the group w/o anyone to play it? I'm not sure, whatever the case, that's just nuts. Some people get way too into this.

I haven't been keeping up with this thread much, since actually I've spent nearly every free waking hour on WoW.
To throw fire into this debate of the merits of WoW vs "other MMOs", this is my first MMO and I'm having a blast. I previously had huge problems with games like EQ for all the most common reasons, but with WoW, it seems the game is so much more refined.
Most importantly, I haven't had times when I'm 'grinding', like hitting rats and bats for hours and hours just to gte level 2. I'm always making some progress, always have something to do, always finding new places to see...
I'm now Level 25 on my primary character and it just keeps getting better and better.
How big is WoW? Is each server going to be a different continent (like Battle.net east, west, asia)? Or is everyone going to be on one big ass country? Have they said how long it would take to travel from one side to another?
