i'm very close to just giving up on this game. seriously, i don't think i have a chance unless i play every single night, which i have no intention of doing. since it's all about 2 man teams, i'm always ruining it for the other guy. it's kinda frustrating.

That's definitely one of the few things that gets really discouraging about this game. If you don't play ALOT, your game starts to suffer. Look at Brad, he takes a week off and he starts suckin like a noob!

Yeah, let me know when you guys want to get on so EP can get familiar with the levels. I'll see if I can make a dedicated server and I'll turn on my son's Xbox and leave him as a non moving merc.

i know the levels well enough (i often play them in tutorial mode).. it's more a problem with tactics. i have no idea what to do with a merc guarding an area from a vaguely out-of-reach area. i'm way too cautious. the most i can do is knock him out with sleeping gas, but that only lasts for 15 seconds.

i'm kinda hopeless as a merc, too, but that has more to do with my aim. i'm good with the grenade launcher, but i can't hit anything with the gun. can't tell if it's lag or if i'm just not getting headshots.

omg i'm totally whining.

If I have the ability to neutrilize a merc from afar, I let my teammate know so he can hack or whatever. If I'm close, then I usually look for something to jump off for when he wakes up, either that, or if I'm by an ND, I'll lay some smoke down and start hacking, maybe stop when he wakes him, neutrilize him again, kill him or run away, depending on how it's going. If you make it down to two seconds or so on any ND, DONT STOP HACKING, you will die for the good of your team. Another good thing to do, especially on tigher levels like hospital, before you hack, shoot a smoke at each entrance, or on more open levels like warehouse shoot a smoke at the places where you would fire a grenade at them form if you were a merc. For example: the intersection of the above catwalks, if you're hacking the ND under the stairs.
