Okay, I've just seen this thing on NCSX (shows how behind the times I am), and was wondering: is this better than the first game Tomy released on GC? Does it beat the ultra-sexiness of the PS2 Naruto fighting game? Anyone play this bloody thing?
I bet someone has.

It looks and plays far better than Narutimate hero...
As in, it's an actual fighting game, with even better cel-shaded graphics.
i played it a couple times at megacon, it was pretty fun, im a big fan of the show, i had no idea how to play, but doing the super moves is pretty fun, since the entire game stops to watch your destroy your oponent. I really want to get it, but lack the funds right now.
I went in depth in the game on this other site. I didn't mention the 4 player though at the time. Now I realize that that makes the game 100x better than it already is.

So is the juggling really that bad? I mean, have you played multiplayer and tried to break it?Originally Posted by Do You Like Erotic?
Many fighting games keep the combo counter(or whatever) going even it it is possible to get out of it. Else this game is probably only worth playing with 3 or 4 people as the guy who juggles would probably get ganged upon.

That's not to say the game is perfectly balanced and abuse-free, however.Originally Posted by Damian79

Kill him as fast as possible, or better yet, someone using Neji against Rock Lee can potentially prevent him from ever gaining enough chakra to do this, if they're good. And if you wanna talk about abuse, Orochimaru's super move prevents its target from gaining chakra the rest of the round. But unless your friends are complete assholes, I doubt this'll affect anyone's enjoyment of the game any, heheh.
Another thing to remember is the b,b,x combo. If the second hit lands, the super move is guaranteed. Works for everybody.
But yeah, jeez, this game is full of awesome stuff. It has more depth than a lot of people give it credit for. Just because you can play it on a simple level doesn't mean there's not more to it. I'd recommend this game to non-Naruto fans, but for anyone who remotely likes Naruto, it's a must-have. Everything about it works so well. I can easily say it's my favorite anime license game ever, which isn't saying very much at all, but it's great, heheh.
