Funny in the print ads and commercials there is no mention of J-Lo. Did they cut her role down and phase it out due to the Gigli backlash? Amusing how critics are saying "great comeback for Ben Affleck". I am interested to see this. I like Kevin Smith, though not as much as some of you. Odd the Movie is PG-13, haven't all his films been "R"? The premise doesn't even sound that funny to me, but I am still interested.

Jersey Girl may suck shit, but the sheer number of geek culture one-liners will make it tolerable if not outright enjoyable. Kevin Smith may have sold out, but that doesn't mean he doesn't pay lip service to the fanboy masses that lifted him from obscurity to celebrity.

I don't think J-Lo had a big role in the movie in the first place. But George Carlin has a large part in it making me want to see it. Doens't look spectacular or anything but it could be a decent light romp.

It's been getting mixed reviews...I read a review that shit all over it and another that said it was "meh". It has been done for awhile now, but it was delayed because of Gigli, they wanted the stigma of the Jlo Ben connection to calm down. And Lopez is in the movie for a very short time...it's more of a romantic comedy and is a lot different than Smiths past movies. It's not the wacky shit we know from him, so anyone expecting that kind of movie isn't going to get it. I think Afleck is really boring so I have no urge to see it.

Kevin Smith said on the Tonight Show last week that she's only in it for 15 mins., which is good news for all who don't want to see her in a flick. I can't wait for the DVD release, which is when I'll probably first see the film.
