They only do 12-14 episodes a year, man. They have plenty of time. But I'm sure Book of Mormon is a major factor competing for their attention.
Obligated till 2013.
Comedy Central needs to fix the way the show is made, though. Give them more time or if it's on their end give themselves more time. Whatever is forcing them to crank out an episode a week; when they could easily give themselves more time, needs to stop. It's going to be interesting to see how they resolve what happened in the mid season finale though; I see them completely ignoring it.

They went from finishing TBoM to flying back to LA to do South Park without any of their usual prep work. So this season they were both really burnt out while doing it, but they're officially on vacation until they go back to do the second half of the season in the fall. I'm sure they'll be more comfortable at that time but I don't think they're going to change their one week schedule. Seems like more pressure than anyone needs but I guess that's just their process at this point.
So I just realized today that the adam sandler movie preview they watched in the theater is an actual movie. I thought it was a joke like "Rob Schneider is....a carrot"
"I don't like fellas that kill me. Not in general."
Durr-da-durr-durr.
He's talking about Sandler's next movie Jack and Jill, the trailer just came out. In South Park they showed a toilet spewing shit with that wacky voice over...
Splooge-Drenched Blowjob Queen was pretty funny.
That episode was more on the nose than people even realize.
