They tried to spoof too many topics in one episode and didn't really do a good job attacking any of them.

Having a PC connected to your TV is pretty much what everyone should do... hell, I don't even have cable anymore (haven't for 3 years now) because I just have a dedicated desktop for watching TV online. Laptops all have HDMI out now too. If you don't like that, there are options like PlayOn. South Park is also on Hulu if you're against all this.
