...in the parts of North America where Mobile Light Force 2 and Capcom VS SNK 2 doesn't exist...
I just can't believe there are a measurable amount of people who still insist 2D gaming is in some sort of dire straits. (not to mention their logic as to which companies are the cause of "negative" changes)
I don't see why anyone even cares whether a game is 2D or not anymore. I'd be all for 2D gaming if it was lush hand drawn art, but 99% of it is just made up of sprites with little to no detail or rehashed art from 1990 something.
Good games are all that matters.

Might I also mention Samurai Shodown 5, SVC Chaos, and Metal Slug 3?

And GGX2, GGX, MLF2, and CVS2 is hardly an overwhelming plethora of 2D gaming.
Also, the PSP is designed to be a 3D handheld...the first of its kind. A lot of people (myself included) would feel VERY ripped off if they didn't milk its 3D capabilities.
Everyone knows both 2D and 3D are ancient history when Sony releases it's new vector console to spite you all. Muahahahahahaha!
game play didnt seem that interesting or appealeing to me, neither did the character design (which seemed very lame and thrown together to me) but it does speak of potential so well see how it goes
Game looks ok, but the potential is beyond what I originally expected.
I'm liking alot of what I've been hearing lately about the psp. I am looking forward to it.
