Meh. Not totally ruling it out until E3.
What a false hope that was.![]()

Why would I pay for Gamecube online anyway -- even if I was to assume it real? Mario Kart double dash and Animal Crossing are the only two games that would be worth it, and Animal Crossing wouldn't work online with all the password shit.

Nope. Simply whipped the camera out in normal lighting conditions with normal monitor brightness. Almost all decent indoor pics are taken either with flash or a strong light source.
I can't take a pic of me taking a pic. Get your camera and prove me wrong.
Bah, now I see the damned shadow in the pic in question. That shadow from his head is definately strong. I didn't see it before for some reason. Forget I said anything.
Still it depends on how strong the shadow is versus the brightness of the monitor. If I had a digicam, I would show you because the brightness of my room with just sunlight is about the same as the one in the picture and my monitor is far brighter than the one in you pic.
Though, I wonder how much that pic was photoshopped. His hands and controller only have shadows going away from the screen.
I'm not saying that it's impossible to take a pic with a shadow on the set but not on the screen, but in normal indoor conditions with a flash (which is the norm) a shadow should be visible on both or neither. And that pic was taken in what looks to be a normal average office, not some fancy studio set. The evidence isn't bulletproof but it definitely weighs heavily against authenticity.
Hah! Burg's got Robin Williams Arms.
