New Killer 7 and RE4 vids

I must say, I really need to know more about Killer 7's gameplay... it doesnt look all that fun in the video... like a lightgun game... without the lightgun. Certainly looks interesting enough though.

Alien Panic or whatever did look sweet. Okay I'll be fair with RE4 now that i'm out of class. Really I expect more of the same out of Capcom, if nothing for better or worse they're the masters of the rehash with improvement. And I do like the idea of semi-sentient zombies (alluded to in RE3 i believe with that guy's journal about feeling the hunger)
But the control has been ass every time I've played it with little gimmicks like the quick dodges and shit, has this dented sales? No, will they keep it in, probally as its not seen as broken.

Zombie head poping with the shotgun in? (checks video again) ooooooh yeahh... classic. But i stand my previous slander.

There aren't zombies at all in this game. None, 0, zip, zilch, no zombies whatsoever. There was an interview posted on the RE 4 thread here where the director claimed that there'd be no zombies whatsoever.

The controls are completely revamped I believe because of the new viewpoint.

Ok, Watched the video and RE4 looks amazing. Still shooting those vilagers wasnt as fun as if it was zombies, but some moments, like sniping the thrown knives and axes, boat fight against the giant aligator and the troll encounter looked totally bad ass.

Killer 7 looked very nice style wise, and its definately going to be different and unique experience.

But WTF with last game there??? Looked really retarded.

Funny... cause as I mentioned the villagers still sound EXACTLY like zombies... just slightly smarter... so shall we call them pseudo zombies?

I think they're just really pissed-off normal people. Kind of like the jack-asses from 28 Days.

Some kind of virus has them seeing red, and they want everything dead or dying. I remember reading this somewhere, but I can't remember where.

"No zombies," said Kobayashi. This revelation comes as a first for the franchise. Whatever is going on in the village where Kennedy finds himself stranded, it doesn't involve the undead. That noted, the villagers themselves are abnormal in many ways and video snippets of scenes from the game showcase battles with water creatures and ogre-like characters.
