I can not believe the Red Sox made a fucking series out of this. Game one feels like it was an eternity ago. Maybe that explains why Schilling was able to pitch after coming up lame in game one. The only question I have now is
who the hell is left? At least the MFY have the tandem of Brown and Hernandez to eat innings (I doubt they will be quality innings, but that is neither here nor there). Red Sox counter with a tired Lowe (sans one Derek Lowe Face, I pray to Gord) and Wakefield, who has thrown a thousand pitches in the span of five minutes. Yeah, they are fine.
(Do not be suprised if Foulke goes for what feels like the twentith day in a row. I swear, he is a hockey player who is just playing baseball because of the NHL lockout.)
Something needs to be said about Schilling's very red sock. Apparently his ankle was bleeding the entire game because they sutured up the damaged tendon to his ankle. (!!) They may as well take a staple gun to the ankle for his next start. Knowing this, it makes his start all the more insane... holy shit.
IBTN. That bitchslapping of Arroyo's glove is just conclusive proof that Alex Rodriguez is an assclown. Nice sportsmanship there, you turd.
