After about 16 hours of flying and another three driving, I'm back home.
It was cool to see the family and all, but I didn't didn't get to do much of what I wanted to do, since getting around was a pain. I did get to go to the Dodgers' Opening Day (painful start!) and to the Fashion District in downtown L.A. Hell, I even ate at El Pollo Loco (did you think they had 'em in Japan?)
I went to my grandafther's house to see if any of my old gaming stuff was still around. Since I was told that a lot of it had been dumped, I was expecting to be very disapppointed. Amongst some of my findings, there was a complete JP version of Alien Soldier, Twinkle Tale (complete), and even Undead Line (almost complete) to name a few. I even found a Neo-Geo memory card that I honestly didn't remember having! How's that for sheer luck?
If things go right, I'll be back out that way in the first part of May. Maybe then things will be a gazillion times better.
*Note to FX-ism: You should see about a hop from where you're at to where I'm at. Though it took me long enough to see it, but AMC isn't a bad thing at all.
P.S. Sorry for the sorta-crappy pics.
