Thread: Video game comic books...

  1. #31

uh, I have a huge collection of sonic comics. I think I have like 0-3 and 1 through 50 something. I collected them in middle school. I stopped once I realized I'd need money to buy a car.

  2. there was an Earthworm Jim one, I only saw a couple of issues.

  4. I picked up the first issue of the Mega Man comic when it came out. It was pretty crappy. Definitely not worth the few bucks it cost.

I'd love to read the SH comic, though.

  5. I heard that the performance of the SF comic series will be a factor concerning Capcom's decision whether or not to make a new SF game.

If you care about SF at all, you should be buying the comics, and the SFIII/HSFII PS2 double-pack...

  6. Speaking of Dreamwave, remember this awesome thing?-

What the hell happened to it?

  7. It was probably released in ridiculously small quantities exclusively to comic stores, whom have proven time and again that they have their fingers far from the pulse of what people will actually want to buy.

Then I guess an SF game will never be coming out, since sales are steady but hardly on Spider-Man or Xmen level.

It also didn't help that issues 1-6 were distrubuted very poorly, also.

Now, now, I don't think they set their expectations that high.

This is probably the hottest non-DC/Marvel book out now. I'd say it's been quite successful.

  10. Maximo has a comic. The first issue is the only one available right now, and the series probably won't be around for long . . . because it sucks.
