It makes me very happy that people are enjoying themselves, learning new things, and helping promote this kind of gaming lifestyle. I wish more people would participate in Score Attack and some of the other boards, but I keep meaning to post some scores and haven't gotten there either, so I know it takes time and some promotion. The crown jewel here is Gaming Discussion, and it should always be that way, but we have seen many of the other boards come into their own.

TNL is becoming almost like its own country on the Internet and learning how to govern such an intelligent and opinionated bunch has been interesting. I have seen and backed, implicitly or explicitly, some stupid decisions as part of the process, but I trust we are on the right path. As always, comment publicly on the Feedback board or privately at forum@the-nextlevel.com or nick@the-nextlevel.com. Thanks to cka and Lhadatt for putting it all together from a technical standpoint and all the admins and mods for dealing with so much without cracking.

The bottom line: If you don't feel like you are part of a family here, then we are not doing our job. Honestly, I look forward to reading the forum every day and I never come away disappointed. Great job everyone.

I love this place. As for score attak, I wish I could participate in it, but my lifestyle is away from my dreamcast and more on my GBA; for the sake of being a bit more convinient.

I to have wondered this. There is a lacking of gay ass banner adds. Do game company's send them games to review, that they later ebay away?

I will start running ads eventually, but they won't be the kind that make you want to paint your screen black, nor will they be ads for Viagra or cheap airline tickets or other unrelated products. I just don't have a very corporate mindset about this kind of thing, and I'd rather lose money on a project, even a lot of money, than host ads that I think are stupid or obnoxious. That said, it is an expensive undertaking, so I might look into some revenue-raising methods I can easily stomach, but maybe in a month or two. In the meantime, make sure to read the content as well as the message boards. Outside of donations, the best thing you can do for TNL right now is to read it.

There's still the Ninja Five-O score thing. I haven't played it in a while, so no score from me.

However, If you don't own that game, you suck. And yes, that overrules the general pwnage of simply being Gymkata -- which makes it quite a force to be reckoned with.

Nick, you could charge people for accounts. I've seen this work well on other forums, it brings in a lot of revenue and people are more civil because they have reason to fear a ban.
