It was supposed to but it was cancelled, 1 and 2 did get released on WonderSwan Color but they kind of dropped support for that system before 3 came out

Last time I've heard, they were still working with the Wonderswan version of FF3, but they had problem porting the code from the original Famicom version (which is why they did FF4 instead).
