    LOL nice choice of picture.

Spectral motion is doing work for X3, they've done the Hellboy suits and prosthetics such as Abe Sapian, Sammael and Hellboy as well as the Thing suit in Fantastic Four. I have much faith in them since they've made some terrific work in both films, Juggernaut should be their biggest challenge yet.

  3. Well, it's official.

    Kelsey Grammer is Beast.

Perfect voice-wise but physically wouldn't be my ideal choice. I can see them doing some cool suit shit like Thing and Hellboy and getting Kelsey used to wire work and stuff. I must admit, it's REALLY weird to imagine friggin Frasier as Beast but I have hopes for the character,

  4. Like you said, perfect voice-wise (I mean, totally), and they'll probably go the Hellboy route with a prosthetic costume, or hopefully with a whole different actor playing the physical role and Grammer just dubbing him (similar to what they did with Abe Sapien and the guy who played Grammer's brother on Fraiser).

I really hope not, that'd be a nightmare trying to match Frasier's voice to another guy's facial movements and have it come out as one coherent performance. At least for 'talky' scenes, it has to be Grammer under the prosthesis.

Wow dude, haven't seen you in years.

I thought that dubbing Abe in Hellboy with David Hyde Pierce's voice was a bad idea at first but it synched up pretty much perfectly. I wouldn't do it with Beast though since it's a bit different and I'm anxious to see Kelsey in full Beast look.

Yeah, that's kinda apples-to-oranges. Abe was a totally inhuman-looking character whose performance would inevitably involve either puppetry or CGI, so it pretty much HAD to be dubbed. Beast, on the other hand, has a more human face that can and should be created through prosthesis which allows most of the actor's facial structure and expressions to show through, and while dubbing a puppet or animated being can and often does work, dubbing another actor's performance pretty much never does.

  8. X3's without a director again...

X-Men 3, the second sequel to the smash 2000 comic book adaptation, was Vaughn's first big-budget studio project and he is devastated he's been forced to abandon the project Producer Avi Arad says, "This is not a case of creative differences. This is a personal decision by Matthew, and I can tell you that he is heartbroken. He loved this material, and he wanted to make this film." Comic Marvel and studio Fox are expected to make an announcement in the next few days regarding a replacement director, but filming - which was set to start in early July - looks set to be delayed.

  9. SHit ask me to do it. I'll give Gambit and Wolvie a 20 minute fight scene and kill off Halle Bery.

  10. I think the film is fucked because they are rushing into shit with no reason. I sincerely hope that X3 turns out to be good because I though Vaughn was going to have the touch.
