And it would have meant nothing at all. WB owns DC outright, and thus can do whatever they like with any of DC's IP. This is why all DC-based movies were a joke for so long. Ironic that they seem to have learned from Marvel's recent success, while Marvel themselves seem to be rapidly forgetting what brought them that success - finding talented writers and directors with a passion for the material, giving them the budget they need, and then leaving them the fuck alone.

It really was the worst. I felt like I was going to just vomit, literally, when I saw that in the theater.One of my favorite, superhero/characters since I was like 5 , just got the shaft,and I didnt think the rep of another "Bat" movie would EVER recover the respect that was lost in Batman And Robin.I pray that "Begins" proves me wrong.

Damn...if thats real then 'lol' at what happens to Cyclops.The choice in villians is kind of disappointing too...
