No one let him go. Like, he ran away. Besides, everyone that could have caught him was busy fighting or being killed by Jean.

Hell, the introduction of Colossus was pretty rad as well.
    IAWTP

I'm really annoyed that they did next to nothing with Colossus after the cool into he got in X2.

Thanks. I think I'll go and pick that DVD up, then.

  2. But like Avatar and myself have stated. They used the Ultimate X-Men universe as a basis for the movies. So Juggernaut as a mutant is in comic continuity, just the Ultimate Universe Continuity.

His attitude was more in line with the Grant Morrison Charles.

Did they ever say definitively in the comics that he's a mutant? I know he was taken by Weapon X and used like the other mutants they captured but I don't think they ever really got into how he got his powers. It seemed to me like they were leaving that open for later.

  4. X3 made some crazy mad coin this weekend. X4 is a shoo-in now.

    'Last Stand' Delivers

Mutants jolted the box office to life over the weekend as 20th Century Fox's X-Men: The Last Stand set a record for the Memorial Day holiday, earning an estimated $120.1 million over the four days, 33.1 percent above the previous record of $90.2 million set by The Lost World: Jurassic Park in 1997. Between Friday and Sunday, the film drew $103.1 million, making it the fourth highest-grossing weekend ever. The film far surpassed analysts' expectations. Most had not expected it to exceed the $85.6 million that the previous sequel, X2: X-Men United, raked in, given the fact that it was competing against Sony's The Da Vinci Code, which had a spectacular opening last weekend. X2 had no such competition.

  5. Yeah they left it open, but when Leech stood next to Kitty and Juggy went "Boink" on the wall. Its understood that Leech took his mutant powers.

They did; Cain Marko gained possession of a Ruby from the lost temple of Cyttorak which gave him his powers.

  7. Yup. His powers are magical and not a mutation.

  8. Not being a comic book reader I was glad to see Cyclops get it, he was a teen angsty little brat anyway.

Maybe not word for word, but the basis, the essance, the core.

If anyone who reads Ultimate X-men can verify or debunk this info, please do.
I'm an avid ultimate reader and it does follow the ultimate storyline, but not 1-6 really. It just follows the rules from that universe and borrows from a very broad range of them.
