BTW, the Shi'ar empire was gay. Fuck those feather-headed motherfuckers. The Brood would be cool, though.
But they were important to the creation of the Danger Room and all the vehicles they use.

    BTW Gladiator is awesome FTW.

What's funny is that Spider-Man 3 has all of the above. Not sure how Sam will pull it off with Sandman, Venom and a Goblin as well but 3 just might be the best one.

How man other comic book movies (aside from Spiderman and Batman, and they both changed things too) can you say that about?

I'm a HUGE X-Men fan, have been for years and years, and I'm very happy with the movies (even X3, kinda). Could have things been done better? Sure, they always can. But they got way more right then they did wrong so I'll just count my blessings.

It's like bitching that Wolverine doesn't wear the same costume as the comics when a yellow and blue spandex outfit with a pointy cowl, while cool as a drawing, would look 100% homosexual IRL.
This is exactly right. A lot of what's cool in comic books would be absolutely lost in translation when being ported to the film. It's an entirely different canvas. Sin City is the most faithful adaptation of a comic to movie yet, and that's only thanks to the amazingly stylistic approach Frank Miller took with his work. If anybody thinks Magneto would look anything but incredibly silly floating around in a red and purple spandex suit with a metallic garder belt they need to seek a psychologist instead of a message board.

The X-Men movies are by-and-large great fun, and although 3 didn't hit the nail on the head like X2 did it was it still leaves room for growth in the series.

In comic book continuity they were and it worked because you had room to develop everything up. In a movie this would mean nothing more than the tragic death of a pretty good movie franchise.
