Thread: EA's Fight Night

  1. No problems my ass. It's horrible.

  2. This game is the bee's knees. I'm still puzzled as to why EA gets so much bashing for making "bad" games but people want to play them on Xbox Live.

PS Plenty of people play online with no problems.

Apparently it works for many people with no problems... perhaps your connection is ass..

  4. My connection is fine. Did the same crap on the connection at work, and at my co-worker's home. Yippee.

  5. Your angry..

  6. ... I need to play this to see how it compares to Victorious Boxers 2

Fight Night doesn't have the awesome anime theme going for it, but the controls sound very innovative.

I am a hardcore boxing fan more then any other interest i have so an anime theme to me would be annoyingly gay, HOWEVER I have wanted to try that game for some time because of its praise.

Yea, I feel the same way.

Though I heard Victorious Boxers 2 has Punch-Out characters in it.

    OMG

  10. Ok, back to some Fight Night discusssion: I rented the Xbox version yesterday and my friends and I have been enjoying it immensely while building up our created heavyweight boxer, Guy LeDouche. The load times are pretty long, and I don't even want to imagine what they're like in the PS2 version (which I'm considering purchasing for the online play). And the lack of holding/grappling is kind of annoying, but you tend to forget about it because the rest of the game is so damn good - until you get caught on the ropes and need a way out.

Anyone have any tips for the Heavy Bag training? I'm having a hard time getting the rhythm and timing down on the swings, and I'm too stubborn to take the auto-training points. My power rating is way lower than most of my other attribute categories right now, so it takes me forever to deal out enough damage to knock the tougher opponents down.

I also wish Prince Naseem was in the game.
