They probably should have just made a crossover title, like:
Guardian Heroes & Bubble Bobble vs. Def Jam Vendetta
"This time Medieval Action is taking it to The Street!"
Of course, but for some reason I was expecting something more exciting than the one play screen shown above.Originally Posted by Kidnemo

Doc Holliday, stop posting.
Anyway, I'm a bit put-off by the screens... with the exception of Zur appearing, I don't know how I feel about the playable roster consisting of three generic and yet similar looking designs who fight in bland-looking areas.
I'm going to try to avoid passing judgement until I play it, but... this is not the start I was hoping for. I hope things get more exciting when we see more screens, or maybe even video.
The sprites are too small for their lanky style. Really doesn't look pretty. Also looks much more traditional beatemup style (which I don't like). But after Astroboy, I'm sure it'll be a solid game at worst.
And yet the new one is (C) Treasure, meaning they got the rights back.Originally Posted by Recap

Im kind of disapponted by how Han, Valgar , and the other selectable character look the same from the selection screen.Hopefully they have differing play styles like in the original and arent just color pallete swaps or something gay like that.
And those screens dont look the best, but Ill hold judgement unil I play the game myself.
Ugh, Super Zur is in this one ? Always hated that guy and his dick blast super move.![]()
They all look like Gunstar Heroes, so of course I love it. Other than the guy in the cape, does it really look that bad? The sprites seem pretty small, but how else are you gonna have tons of enemies on screen to beat on? So far it looks much better than RCREX, which is still a really fun game to play.

All the more reason to put it on a system that could do justice to the old game and expand upon it. This just looks bad.Originally Posted by Kidnemo
If they did, they wouldn't need to mention Sega. That title screen speaks about the original game still belonging to Sega, which was my initial point.Originally Posted by Frogacuda
And for this time, I'm with you.Originally Posted by diffusionx
So you think they should put it on a system where is has no chance of selling versus one that has a mediocre chance let alone a chance to come out in the states? 2d games just don't have the same appeal as they used to in the home console/mature market. Atleast this way, there is a chance that it gets released here.Originally Posted by diffusionx
EDIT: On the other hand, if they do make a home console version, there is a chance you may see it get released here if you pray hard enough to the gods of Atlus to release it here.
Who cares if other people than you get to enjoy it? It's not like Treasure will fade away any day soon and they have survived worse things than the idea of giving it a possible japan ps2 only release for example.Originally Posted by Damian79
