Toki Tori on the GBC is really good, but insanely hard.
Not sure what to call these...basically, puzzle-like games which involve finding ways to get through successive levels (and not involving falling blocks or matching colors, though I like those too).
As an example, I recently discovered Splash Lake for Duo, man what a great game, haven't played too far yet but seems to be a very interesting one. Another one I discovered, thanks to a thread by NeoZeedeater, is Sutte Hakkun, some real head scratchers in there as you try different things and work your way towards the goal. Lemmings I think would be a classic game of the type I am talking about.
I'm sure I'm missing a bunch of others, help me out here.

Excellent games, easy to emulate and cheap to have.

The Klonoa GBA games seem to fit the description.
I was thinking about more puzzle-emphasis games and not so much platformers like PoP or Klonoa...but feel free to include those if you like.

LO-FREAKING-LO games.
And Little magic on the SNES which is considered the spiritual successor to it (though a lot easier)
