Thread: Messed up.

  1. Messed up.

It's not like I enjoy adding on to the sad stories here but...

My mom and dad we're working extra hours at the office, and their was no food in the house [never is], so I ordered pizza with me mums card for me and my sisters. I'm calling Little Caesars when I noticed an ambulance and fire truck across the street at my neighbour, Mr. Houde's, house. He's a good man, around 80~85, lives with his wife, and I thought he was in great shape. He always goes out of his way to rake the leaves, or shovel the snow on his property by himself, no matter how many times I offered to do it for him. I hope that me not insisting enough caused him to get sick.

Anyways, my sisters and I walked outside and watched with about a good dozen neighbours and random people on the street, Mr Houde being taken away on a stretcher. this is really unexpected and messed up. Most of the neighbours I've had we're always nuissances; nutjobs, fighting families, even a pedophile /edit/ or immigrants that always spoke unclearly. But he was a good guy. His wife left with the ambulance and my guess is that there still at the hospital now. I have no clue what happened but I hope him the best.

    /end sad moment/

  2. That is tragic, but when people get that age it doesn't really matter what shape their in. Your body just breaks down, and when it reaches a certain point it's all over. I think the important thing is that he lived a good life, died knowing someone loved him, and had the respect of those who knew him (judging by your reaction). I don't think you could ask for anything more in life, or in death.

Of course, this is all assuming he died. If not, then best of luck for a full recovery.
    Time for a change

  3. yeah, thanks. This is not a thread on someone passing away, it's me with just a lack of information. Mrs. Houde'll probably contact all of his friends and family if he's ok, or not.

  4. Geez. This is a bad week. I hope and pray for the best for your neighbor.

The worst I can remember. A lot of fucked up things have happened to a lot of people.

I guess things can only get better though...
