In all honesty, a lot of black women are perceived to be too strong (ie. can call most black men on their lies; are very demanding of what they want, etc). That can be a turn-off to a lot of men. Then you have the docile (by comparison) white women, and some men flock to them instead. They're perceived to be more well-behaved and more devoted and supportive than black women, who can be volatile in comparison. I know this is all based on stereotypes, but some people make decisions based off these very stereotypes, whether it's conscience or not.
