You've played Alundra on PS1, right? I've never played Landstalker, but from what I've heard Alundra's basically what you're looking for, minus the isometric view. I think it was made by the same team and it's about as close as you're gonna get to a sequel.

This damn well better be true, because I just forked out 20 bucks for Alundra just to hope and pray this was right.

Though the seller did agree when I asked him if it was like Landstalker, and he said he could see the similarities.

Oh it is true. Alundra is the closest thing you'll ever play to Landstalker. A lot of the same people made the 2 games.
