I still cannot decide whether to get VJ1/2 for GCN or PS2.... They both have their pros and cons... Well I guess I will get whatever goes onsale first hehe.
Finally seen some reviews on the PS2 version, it seems like the bugs have been fixed but it's still got the slightly duller color and slowdown issues that the VJ1 port did.

Are you playing on Kids mode? When I played, Zoom didn't stop the ninjas like it did the other enemies and they'd still attack while I was zoomed in.Originally Posted by Valgar
Though I really didn't use zoom hardly at all, except for against a couple of bosses.
WHy do you care so much about the fate of PS2 version? Just enjoy your Cube version, which is superior, and leave it at that.Originally Posted by SpoDaddy
I bought the first one over a month ago, and I have yet to even pop it into my PS2. I have NINE games that I bought recently and haven't even played yet, such as Ratchet and Clank, Ratchet and Clank 2, The Legend of Zelda: Classic NES Series, and Dino Crisis. I suck.
You suck for spending $20 on 5 kb that are 20 years old.
HA! HA! I AM USING THE INTERNET!!1

I know, I know, but my NES is broken and I wanted to play Zelda on this long trip I was going on. I ended up playing Metroid: Fusion, instead and never even opened Zelda.
Sorry for getting off-topic.
I'm on Adults mode. It doesn't stop their attacking, but does it matter? If you are slowed and zoomed you beat the tar out of them and if they do get to attack before they are dead you will automatically dodge it. In VJ1 I remember a lot of enemies had to be dodged correctly before you could even hope to kill them.Originally Posted by MarkRyan
VJ1 is a $20 player's choice title on GameCube and is on sale for $20 on PS2 most places. The question is, what's more important to you: better graphics and no slowdown, or playing as Dante (isn't as cool as I thought it'd be, he's just an Alastor clone)Originally Posted by kingoffighters
VJ2 is an easier decision, it's the same deal as VJ1 only the PS2 version doesn't have anything extra. I'd get them on Cube, since I love the graphics and it's the system the game was designed around.
I thought the RHOH was useless in part one. Except against Fire Leo where its a requirement. All that feature really was was an item collector. Or it was used to speed up walking long distances. Aginst enemies it was kinda uselss. Slow Mo and ZOOM was a different story though. You needed slo mo for most enemies and the ZOOM for all of the bosses.
