Watched this. Liked it a lot. I think I prefer the movie ending over the comic ending. Its not as ridiculous. A giant squid would have been retarded live action IMO. Its a shame it didn't do better but what do they expect when a lot of places have to cut down on the amount of showings due to its length and it being R doesn't help with the mass market. Can't wait for the blu ray though.

Stop being such a possessive nerd. You got your Watchmen movie and it turned out just fine (I am mixed on the movie, not a huge fan regardless of roots). Nothing else has anything to do with it. You have no interest or stake in the success of that movie outside of how much enjoyment you experienced while watching it.
