Thread: My new toy.

  1. This is why it's good to be 31 years old and have nothing on your record.

  2. I believe this news.

  3. Well, than again, I don't have a car so it's not like I have car insurance...

I'm 25. I have four speeding tickets within the last year. I drive a Scion xA.

My insurance is $88.50 a month.

Besides what state you live in, age is a huge factor for insurance cost. My friend (he's 20( just got an RSX (black on black) and for a Type S it was going to be $6,800 a year. My mom has Type S...I don't think it was much more than her Audi A4. Just like an RSX -> S the WRX -> STi would be quite a bit more.
$6800!!?? im 25, drive an '03 grand am gt (considered a sports car) and have nothing on my record and i pay $80 a month. and i thought that was a lot. jesus.....close to $7000!?

  7. Please don't get golden rims.

The Blue WRX with golden rims thing has been done to death.
Quick zephyrs blow, vexing daft Jim.

The joys of living in Jersey. It goes down quite a bit when ya hit 25 though. I don't think anyone in NJ pays 80 a month for insurance.

if i ever get a job it's between WRX or RSX-S (or RX8 if i'm making some bank). How is the insurance on that thing? I heard they rape you.
The car is an '04, I'm 29, one ticket on my record, and I live in CT.
My insurance is $211/month for the WRX.

The Sunfire was a '96 and I was on my fathers insurance policy. About $70/month.

My insurance will go down next year when I turn 30 and also my ticket will be off the record by then.

The insurance for an STi is crazy. I couldn't afford that even if I wanted the STi.

I like the look of the gold rims, but I don't think I'll get them. Unless I find a pair that I fall in love with. Like it was said, far too common. They look awesome on a black car though.

Please leave it stock or get machined metal rims.

The chrome ones make everything look like toy cars.
