The ps2 always seems to come out with more rentals than purchases.

I've got 76 GameCube games and 0 PS2 games, I don't own a PS2 because I'm still spooked by Sony hardware from all the PS1's and PS2's I've seen break down on people. Anyone know if the PSTwo is more durable?

BTW I played some Metroid Prime 2 on a demo station, really really good stuff. I would have bought it by now but I'm working on it. Plus I'm just about to beat the first one so once I do that my conscience is clear eough to be ready for Prime 2.
