So yeah I went to a friend's house and played some Halo 2, I still think Halo fanboys are stupid for loving what's essentially Half Life on the XBox with OMFG TEH \/3#1kLe$ except Half Life (even on PS2) tends to play faster and be more exciting, and oh my oh my dual weapons for Master Cheif????? Holy shit now he's like finally getting an ability that's as old as Golden Eye great Job Bungie for making a relatively average game and then getting every one on Earth to think it's the greatest thing ever.
Anyways, enough Halo bashing for now I feel like talking more Metroid stuff.............
Finished the Blogg Boss on 1st try, easy as pie, shoot a missile, side jump and back the fuck up, when he's about done smashing the wall, shoot another missile and start charging 5 shot, when he's nearly smashed into you release missiles and side jump, repeat and a winner is you.
I then stumbled on the Grapple Boss and it was hella more intense, still survived on 1st try but damn he did some crazy ass shit and damn he was fast, hide out behind the poles to survive. Anyways, that's about all I've done lately and holy shit is the game keeping me on my toes, and those Dark Bloggs under water, da-yum they can rape you when there's two of them.
Sorry for spoilers and shit, but don't know how to hide the spoilers. Besides, I bet every one reads them anyways.

What I think is even more amazing is that Bungie made one of the best games ever and you are too stupid to realise it.Originally Posted by Bojack

Ok, if it's such a bad ass of a game, it should be easy for some one to simply post about what makes it so bad ass hm? Wave the magic Halo stick and make me think Halo is the best thing since sliced Jesus.Originally Posted by Opaque
BTW, this should also have the side effect of making me hate Nintendo as much as every one else here does now. Shit, might even make me go so far as to like the GTA series now, how about that?

It's not something you can explain. I can't tell you why the controlls are perfect, why the levels are designed well, why the graphics are amazing to look at, why the score is beautiful, why the modes in multiplayer are so entertaining, you have to experience them.
But when all is said and done, I really don't give a flying fuck wether or not you like Halo 2.
I'd just like to point out the dual wielding in Goldeneye was still mapped to one trigger so when firing both guns you were still holding down one button. Of course it's been a while so correct me if I'm wrong.
In Halo 2 each gun is mapped to it's own trigger thus adding more strategy to how you kill your foes, especially since they have regenerative shields. I just thought I'd chime in on a Metroid thread and point that out.
Y'all come back now you here.

An excellent point dyomides.
In Goldeneye you did have to use both guns at once. In Halo 2 you can start with one gun and finish of with the other. It is especially useful with the Pistol/SMG combo. Since the pistol is a good mid range weapon and the SMG is a good close range weapon, the tactic is to start from a distance with the pistol but wait till you are right next to them to use the SMG, that conserves ammo for when it is most needed but gives you a head start in the race to inflict the most damage.
