  1. Bloody Huge Zelda Speech

Zelda history and such is discussed. I haven't the attention span for this.

So Aonuma wasn't even a fan of Zelda 1 yet he was later given control of the series? That so does not seem right.

Not so much as "not a fan" as sucked hardcore in skill based games back then.

Immediately after I started playing the original Zelda, I failed to read the movements of the Octoroks that appeared in the field, and my game suddenly came to an end. Even after getting used to the controls, each time the screen scrolled to a new area, new Octoroks appeared, and I thought "Am I going to have to fight these things forever???" Eventually I gave up getting any further in the game.

  4. I really enjoyed Wind Waker, so I know he can do good work. On the other hand, I really despised Majora's Mask, because it didn't feel like a Zelda game to me at all. After playing a bit of that game and then hearing that he would be responsible for Wind Waker, I was afraid he'd screw it up again.

The one part that was really interesting was that he hinted at a Zelda DS game that would be revealed at E3, if I read that section correctly. Most of the article is pretty boring, tho.

Some developers barely even play games.
