Yes they did. I just re-read the last 2 pages of the book and the Preds who came to check out the situation ran into her. All the Preds on the planet were dead but since she had the mark and spoke to their learder of Dachande's death he listened to her and asked her to join the hunt.

Since here its only 1 predator left, he needs support to fight against Queen and drones, and human woman distinguishes herself with honor by slaying alien, so he gives her prompts and accepts her.

I'm going to see this tonight. There's essentially no question in my mind that it will be a poor movie. But I'm not excluding the possibility of still being entertained.

Actually, they should have modeled the whole movie around the Capcom AVP game.

I have a bad feeling that, if they just recorded someone playing through the arcade game and played that in theaters it would have been a better movie. Hopefully I'm wrong.

The movie, so far, has a 14% tomato rating.

Im sure Despair will love it.

By the way, this wasnt shown to the critics, either due studio being afraid to preview it and bad publicity that might follow up, or just the fact, that that they just completed it at the last moment before shipping it to the theaters.

It's the former. That's always why they dont show the movie. Its like not sending out review copies of games.

Caught it earlier today and I went in expecting nothing. While the story from the first AvP novel (Prey) would have made a way better movie, I did enjoy this one. It wasn't a horrid as some people would have you believe but it wasn't anything great either.

It was just a so-so action flick. I'd put it behind all the Pred & Aliens flicks other than Resurrection.

Danny Glover is also seen as an equal in the eyes of the Predators.

Just got back from A vs. Predator...Very weak effort. Not enough battles between the two, short running time and horrible ass acting....Oh well should have just bought Predator SE instead of actually paying for the ticket...what a waste.
