    Are Japanese/US Zelda GC saves compatible?

    Thinking about buying the US version and playing through again in English. I'd like to play on the "special" version file in my pajamas.

    I know the GC memory card is region specific and you need it formatted to save JP games on a card with US saves. Doubt they are compatible.

    Yes, I know. I thought something else on GC had compatible Jap/US saves though. Biohazard? That's why I ask.
